AN ORDINANCE
APPROPRIATING $1,017.50 FOR SUBSURFACE INVESTIGATION
RELATIVE TO THE FIVE POINTS AREA OUTFALL PROJECT, PHASE I,
BY TRINITY ENGINEERING TESTING CORPORATION; AND DECLARING
AN EMERGENCY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That there is hereby appropriated out of the No. 295
Storm Sewer Bond Fund the sum of $1,017.50 for subsurface investigation in
the Five Points Area payable to Trinity Engineering Testing Corporation
applicable to Project No. 295-77-15, Five Points Area Outfall, Phase I.
SECTION 2. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council
members, copy attached, to find and declare an emergency due to the. need to
take immediate action to preserve and protect public property by expediting
the construction of public improvements, such finding of an emergency is
made and declared requiring suspension of the Charter rule as to consideration
and voting upon ordinances or resolutions at three regular meetings so that
this ordinance is passed and shalt take effect upon first reading as an
emergency measure this the 4, day of May, 1982.
