HomeMy WebLinkAbout17034 ORD - 05/12/19821w;5-10-82;lst . , AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $28,692.05 FOR COST OVERRUNS ON THE BAYFRONT PLAZA SITE IMPROVEMENtS; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That there is hereby appropriated the sum of $28,692.05 out of the No. 209 Community Convention Facility Bond Fund for cost overruns on the Bayfront Plaza Site Improvements Project as performed by Bay, Inc., applicable to Project No. 209-76-1.3, Convention Center Construction. SECTION 2. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council members, copy attached, to find and declare an emergency due to the need for efficient administration of City affairs by providing funds for cost overruns on the Bayfront Plaza Site Improvements, such finding of an emergency is made and declared requiring suspension of the Charter rule as to consideration and voting upon ordinances or resolutions at three regular meetings sf\:' that this ordinance is passed and shall take effect upon first reading as an emergency measure this 41, day of May, 1982.
