Home My WebLink About17052 ORD - 05/26/1982iw;n-L'4-6c;isy AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE NECESSARY DOCUMENTS FOR THE ACQUISITION OF PARCELS 14, 15, 16, 17 AND 18, A DRAINAGE EASEMENT, FOR THE WOOLDRIDGE-STAPLES DRAINAGE OUTFALL, PHASE 1, PROJECT NO. 295-70-66; APPROPRIATING $13,850 FOR THE ACQUISITION; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That the City Manager be and he is hereby authorized to execute the necessary documents for the acquisition of Parcels 14, 15, 16, 1 17, and 18, a drainage easement, for the Wooldridge -Staples Drainage Outfall, Phase 1, Project No. 295-70-66. SECTION 2. That there is hereby appropriated $13,850 out of the No. 295 Storm Sewer Bond Fund for the acquisition. SECTION 3. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council members, copy attached, to find and declare an emergency due to the need for executing the documents necessary for the acquisition of the aforemmtioned parcels so that the Wooldridge -Staples Drainage Outfall, Phase 1, project can continue on a timely basis, such finding of an emergency is made and declared requiring suspension of the Charter rule as to consideration and voting upon ordinances or resolutions at three regular meetings so that this ordinance is passed and shall take effect upon first reading as an emergency measure this the eii2/pday of , 1982. Together with the free ingress, egxess, and regress to end for the City of Cortus Christi, Texas, for the Purpose of constructing a public drain- age facility, and for the purposes of maintaining, servicing, repairing, and inspecting said pUblic drainase facility under, on, and along said tract. TO HAVE ATID TO HOLD, all and sigplipr, the rights and privileges afore- said to the City of Corpus Christi, Texas, its successors and legal re- presentatives, for the proper use as a drainage easement and drainage right-of-way, for so long as used for such purpose, and if the use for said easement and way of said uses be ever abandoned, then in that event, the aforesaid rights and privileges shall cease. ALL FENCES AND IMPROVEMENTS WILL BE RELOCATED OUTSIDE OF EASEMENT AREA:\ AT THE EXPENSE OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI.
