AN ORDINANCE
APPROPRIATING $47,425 OUT OF THE NO. 102 GENERAL FUND
UNAPPROPRIATED FUND BALANCE TO PAY THE ESTIMATED COSTS
OF SELLING $10,000,000 GENERAL OBLIGATION BONDS; AND
DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That there is hereby appropriated out of the No. 102
General Fund Unappropriated Fund Balance the sum of $47,425 to pay the esti-
mated costs of selling $10,000,000 General Obligation Bonds, said costs to
be reimbursed out of the proceeds of bond sale, the said costs being allocated
as follows:
Bond Attorney Fee $11,800
Financial Advisor Fee 22,475
Printing and Mailing Official Statement . 7,150
Printing Bonds 2,500
Bond Rating Fee - Moody's Investors Service 2,500
Contingencies 1,000
Total $47,425
SECTION 2. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council
members, copy attached, to find and declare an emergency due to the immediate
need for efficient and effective administration of City affairs by appropri-
ating the aforesaid funds to pay for the costs of the general obligation
bond sale, such finding of an emergency is made and declared requiring suspen-
sion of the Charter rule as to consideration and voting upon ordinances or
resolutions at three regular meetings so that this ordinance is passed and
shall take effect upon first reading as an emergency measure this the
day of June, 1982.
