BY CHANGING THE ZONING MAP IN REFERENCE TO TRACT 1, A PORTION OF IOT 6, SPCTION 5, AND TRACT 2, A P_ORIMUIELESLAIID 6. SECTION 5, FI OU BLUFF AND ENCINAL FARM AND GARDEN TRACTS FROM "A-1" APARTMENT HOUSE DISTRICT ON TRACTS 1 AND 2 TO "B-4" GENERAL BUSINESS DISTRICT ON TRACT 1 AND "R -1B" ONE -FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT ON TRACT 2 AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has forwarded to the City Council its reports and recommendations concerning the application of Hunt Enterprises, Ltd. for amendment to the zoning map of the City of Corpus Christi; WHEREAS, public hearing was held at which hearing all persons wishing to appear and be heard were heard, to consider the same before the City Council of the City of Corpus Christi, in accordance with proper notice to the public, said public hearing having been held on Wednesday June 23, 1982 , at Regular Council meeting of the City Council in the Council Chamber at City Hall in the City of Corpus Christi; and WHEREAS, by motion duly made, seconded and carried, it was decided by the City Council that to approve the hereinafter set forth amendment would best serve public health, necessity and convenience and the general welfare of the City of Corpus Christi and its citizens: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Corpus Christi, Texas, is amended by making the change hereinafter set out. SECTION 2. That the hereinafter described tract or parcels of land described as Tractl, a portion of Lot 6, Section 5, and Tract 2, a portion of Lots 5 and 6, Section 5, Flour Bluff and Encinal Farm and Garden Tracts, situ- ated in the City of Corpus Christi, Nueces County, Texas, be and the same is hereby rezoned from "A-1" Apartment House District on Tracts 1 and 2 to "B-4" General Business District on Tract 1 and "R-16" One -family Dwelling District on Tract 2: 17094 MICROFILMED totkur''''t"U FIELDNOTES for 1.10 acres of land, more or less, proposed for 33-4 zoning out of Lot 6, Section 5, Flour Bluff and Encinal Farm and Garden Tracts, a map of which is recorded in Volume A, Pages 41, 42, 43, map records of Nueces County, Texas: BEGINNING at the point of intersectionrof the Southwest right-of-way line of Saratoga Boulevard and the common zone line of A-1 and 33-4 as shown in the 2981 Corpus Christi Zoning Map situated in said Lot 6 for the East corner of this tract from which corner the East corner of Lot 2, Block 1, Country Club Estates Unit -18, a map of which is recorded in Volume 43, Page 133 of said map records bears North 61°05'45" West 1,044.45 feet, more or less; THENCE South 29°01'00" West, along the common zone line of said A-1 and 33-4, 300.00 feet, more or less, for the South corner of this tract; THENCE South 65°53'12" West, along said common zone line, 200.00 feet, more or less, for the West corner of this tract; THENCE North 29°01'00" East 500.8 feet, more or less, to a point on said Southwest right-of-way line of Saratoga Boulevard for the North corner of this tract; THENCE South 61°0545" East, along said *Southwest right-of-way, 220.00 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING. SECTION 3. That the official zoning map of the City of Corpus Christi, Texas, be, and the same is hereby, amended as herein ordained. SECTION 4. That the Zoning Ordinance and Map of the City of Corpus Christi, Texas, approved on the 27th day of August, 1937, as amended from time to time, except as herein changed, shall remain in full force and effect. SECTION 5. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed. SECTION 6. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council members, copy attached, to find and declare an emergency due to the need for efficient administration of City affairs by granting the aforesaid zoning change, such finding of an emergency is made and declared requiring suspension of the Charter rule as to consideration and voting upon ordinances or resolutions at three regular meetings so that this ordinance is passed and shall take effe t upon first reading as an emergency measure this the ;273 day of , ATTEST: Ci Secretary MAYORJQ:..
