HomeMy WebLinkAbout17120 ORD - 07/14/1982Pri;/-V-oL;15L AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $3,700 OUT OF THE NO. 250 SANITARY SEWER BOND FUND FOR BRUSH REMOVAL AT THE ALLISON WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That there is herebY appropriated $3,700 out of the No. 250 Sanitary Sewer Bond Fund for brush removal and clearance of a 14 acre tract south of the Allison Wastewater Treatment Plant by Stanley R. Brown, Contractor, applicable to Project No. 250-77-17, Allison Plant Improvements. SECTION 2. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council members, copy attached, to find and declare an emergency due to the need for efficient and effective administration of City affairs by appropriating the aforementioned funds, such finding of an emergency is made and declared requiring suspension of the Charter rule as to consideration and voting upon ordinances or resolutions at three regular meetings so that this ordinance is passed and shall take ef ct upon first reading as an emer gency measure this the Wday of , 1982.
