AN ORDINANCE
APPROPRIATING $54,000 TO SUPPLEMENT FUNDS PREVIOUSLY
APPROPRIATED IN THE TRANSIT OPERATING BUDGET; TRANS-
FERRING $89,000 FROM THE TRANSIT FUND TO THE NO. 102
GENERAL FUND, ON INTERFUND LOANS; AND DECLARING AN
EMERGENCY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS:
Section 1, That there is hereby appropriated $54,000 out of the
No. 118 Transit Fund Reserve, Activity No. 548.99 to supplement $35,000
previously appropriated in the Transit Operating Budget, Activity 548.41,
Code 404, Interest on Working Capital.
Section 2. That there is hereby transferred $89,000 from the
Transit Fund to the No. 102 General Fund, Activity 306.19, Interfund
Interest Earned for Interest Payment to the General Fund on interfund
Loans made by the General Fund to the Transit Fund during the 1981-1982
fiscal year.
Section 3. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council
members, copy attached, to find and declare an emergency due to the immediate
need for efficient and effective administration of City affairs by
appropriating and transferring the abovementioned funds, such finding of
an emergency is.made and declared requiring suspension of the Charter rule
as to consideration and voting upon ordinances or resolutions at three
regular meetings so that this ordinance is passed and shall take ect
upon first reading as an emergency measure this the If/day of
1982.
