HomeMy WebLinkAbout17131 ORD - 07/21/1982skp;7/19/82;lst AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $4,320 FOR CHANGE ORDERS APPROVED DURING THE INSTALLATION OF KITCHEN AND CONCESSION EQUIPMENT AT THE CONVENTION CENTER; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That there is hereby appropriated $4,320 out of the No. 209 Community Convention Facility Bond Fund for change orders approved during the installation of the kitchen and concession equipment applicable to Project No. 209-76-1.4, Convention Center Equipment. SECTION 2. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council members, copy attached, to find and declare an emergency due to the need to appropriate funds for change orders approved during the installation of kitchen and concession equipment at the Convention Center, such finding of an emergency is made and declared requiring suspension of the Charter rule as to consideration and voting upon ordinances or resolutions at three regular meetings so that this ordinance is passed and shall take effect upon first reading as an emergency measure this the day of July, 1982.
