HomeMy WebLinkAbout17159 ORD - 07/28/1982, • ;7/9/82;1st 7 TEXAS: , AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 36-8 OF THE CORPUS CHRISTI CITY CODE, 1976, AS AMENDED, SO AS TO ESTABLISH NEW ATHLETIC LEAGUE TEAM FEES AND A FEE FOR THE USE OF SOFTBALL FIELDS FOR SOFTBALL PRACTICE; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE; AND PROVIDING FOR PUBLICATION. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, SECTION I. That Section 36-8, entitled "Athletic League Team Fees", as established in the Corpus Christi City Code, 1976 Revision, as amended, by Ordinance No. 15693, passed and approved by the City Council on August 13, 1980, be amended to.read as follows: "Section 36-8. Athletic League Team Fees. (A) The rates to be charged as fees for the participation in city -sponsored league play shall be as prescribed in the following schedule: Entrance fees per team for league play: Regular season softball $250.00 Fall season softball 125.00 Flag football 175.00 Basketball 250.00 Volleyball 125.00 Soccer, Summer and Fall 140.00 Entrance fees per team for tournament play: Softball $ 75.00 (B) A rate of $5.00 per one-hour session per team is to be charged to each team utilizing a City -owned or operated softball field for softball practice." SECTION 2. The above and foregoing rates shall be charged to all teams. Any use without payment shall be deemed a violation of this Code. SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect from August 1, 1982. SECTION 4.
