, AN ORDINANCE
AUTHORIZING AN AGREEMENT WITH AERONAUTICAL RADIO, INC.,
FOR TWO-WAY RADIO SYSTEM AT THE CORPUS CHRISTI INTER-
NATIONAL AIRPORT.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That the City Manager be authorized to execute an
agreement with Aeronautical Wio, Inc., of Annapolis, Maryland, for the
use of wall space and electricity at a rental rate of $50 per month for
a two-way radio system used by commercial air carrier tenants of the Airport
in transmitting communication at taxing -off point to a central location,
all as more fully set forth in the agreement, a substantial copy of which is
attached hereto and made a part hereof, marked Exhibit A.

LEASE AGREEMENT
THIS LEASE is made as of between Corpus Christi International Airport
as LESSOR, and AERONAUTICAL RADIO, INC. (a Delaware Corporation) as LESSEE.
1. PREMISES LESSOR hereby leases to LESSEE the following: Space for installing
' and servicing radio cabinet on wall in airport P.A. System equipment loft adjacent to
transformer vault in main terminal building at Corpus Christi International Airport.
Access for servicing available 24 hours per day. The terms of this agreement are
performable in Nueces County, Texas.
2. TERM The term of this lease shall be for an indefinite period commencing
on June 15, 1982 and continuing until terminated by either party upon 60
days written notice to the other.
3. RENT LESSEE shall pay to LESSOR a rental of 00 per month
payable monthly in advance.
4. USE & ACCESS LESSEE may install, operate and store on the premises such
communication equipment as may be necessary to its business, including transmitters,
receivers, power supplies, antennas, poles and guy wires. LESSEE shall have
unrestricted access to the premises at all hours of night or day.
5. UTILITIES & TAXES LESSEE, at its expense, may arrange for such telephone
and wire line service as it may require. LESSOR shall pay all taxes on the leased
premises, except taxes on LESSEE's tangible personal property. Electric power shall
be paid for by Lessor and is (aat) included in the rent.
6. LIABILITY Except to the extent caused by LESSOR's negligence or willful
act, LESSOR shall not be liable for any loss or injury arising out of LESSEE's use of
the premises. LESSOR shall, however, be solely responsible for any loss or injury
occurring after the end of the lease term. .
7. ASSIGNMENT & SUBLETTING LESSEE shall not assign this lease or sublet the
premises without LESSOR's written consent.
8. REMOVAL OF LESSEE'S PROPERTY At the expiration of this agreement, LESSEE
shall remove all its property and equipment, leaving the premises in their original
condition, ordinary wear and tear excepted. However, LESSEE may leave any of is
buildings, poles, towers and. other improvements on the premises at such expiration,
and these shall become the sole property and responsibility of LESSOR unless, at
least 30 days before the end of the lease term, LESSOR has given LESSEE written
notice to remove them.

9. COMPLIANCE WITH LAWS LESSEE shall comply with all applicable laws and
regulations governing its use of the premises.
10. NOTICES All notices hereunder to either party shall be delivered by hand or
sent by United States mail, first class postage prepaid, addressed as follows:
