BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That the City Manager be and he is hereby authorized to execute Change Order No. 1 to the contract with M & M Construction Company for construction of the Fixed Base Operator ramps at the Corpus Christi International Airport, as more fully set forth in the Change Order, a substantial copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, marked Exhibit "A". SECTION 2. That there is hereby appropriated $11,000 out of the No. 245 Airport Bond Fund, Project No. 245-77-3, Additional Ramp Space Construction. SECTION 3. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council members, copy attached, to find and declare an emergency due to the need to take immediate action to expedite the construction of public improvements, such finding of an emergency is made and declared requiring suspension of the Charter rule as to consideration and voting upon ordinances or resolutions at three regular meetings so that this ordinance is passed and a11 take effect upon first reading as an emergency measure this the — day of August, 1982.
