AN ORDINANCE
AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF A CHILDREN'S CORD ROPE
CLIMBER TO BE INSTALLED AT CORPUS CHRISTI BEACH PARK FROM
PERSONAIRE PARK AND PLAYGROUND PRODUCTS; APPROPRIATING
$22,642 FOR SAID PURCHASE; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That there is hereby authorized the purchase of a
children's cord rope climber from Personaire Park ,c1 Playground Products to
be installed at Corpus Christi Beach Park.
SECTION 2. That there is hereby appropriated $22,642 out of the
Park Bond Fund No. 291-77-2 to Park Construction No. 102-266-518.43-252 for
the purchase.
SECTION 3. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council
membei-s, copy attached, to find and declare an emergency due to the need for
the immediate purchase of equipment for Corpus Christi Beach Park, such
finding of an emergency is made and declared requiring suspension of the
Charter rule as to consideration and voting upon ordinances or resolutions at
three regular meetings so that this ordinance is passed and shall t e effect
upon first reading as an emergency measure this the day of
1982.
