APPROPRIATING $109,574.42 FOR GAS LINE RELOCATION
PERFORMED BY GAS DIVISION PERSONNEL ON VARIOUS STREET
PROJECTS; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That there is hereby appropriated $109,574.42 out of
the No. 162 Federal/State Grant Fund, Department 162, Activity 807.04, Code
502, Sixth Year Community Development Block Grant, for gas line relocation
performed by Gas Division personnel on various street projects to be

reimbursed to the No. 106 Gas Fund.
SECTION 2. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council
members, copy attached, to find and declare an emergency due to the need to
take immediate action to preserve and protect public property by expediting
the construction of public improvements, such finding of an emergency is made
and declared requiring suspension of the Charter rule as to consideration and
voting upon ordinances or resolutions at three regular meetings so that this
ordinance is passed and shall take fect upon first reading as an emergency
measure this the 0:Wday of 741..072.44., , 1982.

introduced, or at the present meeting of the City Council.
