CLOSING AND ABANDONING THE 10 FOOT WIDE UTILITY EASEMENT
CENTERED ON THE COMMON LOT LINE OF LOTS 3 AND 4, BLOCK
11, NOTTARB PLACE UNIT 3; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
WHEREAS, a 10 foot wide utility easement exist centered on the
common lot line of Lots 3 and 4, Block 11, Nottarb Place Unit 3, as shown by
plat recorded in Volume 45, Pages 114 and 115, Map Records, Nueces County,
Texas; and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that it is feasible and
advantageous to the City of Corpus Christi to abandon said utility easement:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That the 10 foot wide utility easement centered on the
common lot line of Lots 3 and 4, Block 11, Nottarb Place Unit 3, as shown by
plat recorded in Volume 45, Pages 114 and 115, Map Records, Nueces County,
Texas, be closed and abandoned.
SECTION 2. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council
members, copy attached, to find a declare an emergency due to the need for
efficient administration of City affairs by closing and abandoning the
aforesaid utility easement such finding of an emergency is made and declared
requiring suspension of the Charter rule as to consideration and voting upon
ordinances or resolutions at three regular meetings so that this ordinance is
passed and shall take effect upon first reading as an emergency measure this
the 4 day of October, 1982.

For the reasons set forth in the emergency clause of the foregoing ordinance or resolution,
an emergency exists requiring suspension of the Charter rule as to consideration and voting
upon ordinances or resolutions at three regular meetings; 1/we, therefore, request that you
suspend said Charter rule and pass this ordinance or resolution finally on the date it is
introduced, or at the present meeting of the City Council.
