HomeMy WebLinkAbout17328 ORD - 10/27/1982TEXAS: AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CODE OF ORDINANCES, SECTION 6-10(d) TO PROVIDE THAT THE TERM OF LICENSES FOR DOGS AND CATS SHALL BE ONE YEAR FROM THE DATE OF ISSUE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, SECTION 1. That the Code of Ordinances, Section 6-10(d) be amended to hereinafter read as follows: (d) Term. If not revoked, such license shall be effecTFE for a period of one year from the date of issue. Application for license renewal may be made any time within a 30 day period prior to the expiration date of the license. SECTION 2. That the aforementioned amendment be effective as of December 1, 1982. SECTION 3. Publication shall be made one time in the official publication of the City of Corpus Christi by publishing the cation of this ordinance, stating in substance the purpose of the ordinance.
