HomeMy WebLinkAbout17336 ORD - 11/03/1982AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $1,500 FOR APPRAISAL SERVICES BY THOMAS F. DORSEY IN CONNECTION WITH THE ACQUISITION OF PARCELS 4 AND 4A FOR THE WOOLDGE-STAPLES OUTFALL; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That there is hereby appropriated $1,500 out of the Storm Sewer Bond Fund, Project 295-70-66 for appraisal services by Mr. Thomas F. Dorsey in connection with the acquisition of Parcels 4 and 4A for the Wooldridge -Staples Outfall. SECTION 2. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council members, copy attached, to find and declare an emergency due to the need to take immediate action to preserve and protect public property by expediting the construction of public improvements, such finding of an emergency is made and declared requiring suspension of the Charter rule as to consideration and voting upon ordinances or resolutions at three regular meetings so that this ordinance is passed and shall take effect upon first reading as an emergency measure this the "11ay of November, 1982.
