HomeMy WebLinkAbout17361 ORD - 11/17/1982s' AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 16352 AS AMENDED BY ORDINANCE NO. 16700 AUTHORIZING INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT AGREEMENT WITH SABER REFINING COMPANY FOR INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT NO. 23-A AND 23-B TO DELETE PAGE ONE OF EXHIBIT A DESCRIBING A 8.663 ACRE PORTION OF CORPUS CHRISTI INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT NO. 23-B AND INCLUDING THIS SAME 8.663 ACRE TRACT WITHIN EXHIBIT A OF CORPUS CHRISTI INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT NO. 23-A; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That Ordinance No. 16352 as amended by Ordinance No. 16700 authorizing Industrial District Agreement with Saber Refining Company for Industrial District No. 23-A and 23-B be amended to delete page one of Exhibit A describing an 8.663 acre portion of Corpus Christi Industrial District No. 23-B and including this same 8.663 acre tract within Exhibit A of Corpus Christi Industrial District No. 23-A. SECTION 2. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council members, copy attached, to find and declare an emergency due to the need for efficient and effective administration of City affairs by amending the aforementioned Industrial District Agreement, such finding of an emergency is made and declared requiring suspension of the Charter -rul``e as to consideration and voting upon ordinances or resolutions at threQ regular meetings so that this ordinance is passed and shall take effect upon first reading as an emergency measure this the /7 day of November, 1982. The City of Corpus Christi and Company agree that the attached revision to Exhibit "A" consisting of a description of an approximately 8.663 acre tract acquired by Company as of January 1, 1982, shall be included within and subject to the Company's industrial district agreement (Corpus Christi Industrial District No. 23-A) authorized by Ordinance No. 16532. Company warrants to the City that the use of the subject tract relates directly to the primary use of the apparent tract described under the original Industrial District Agreement.
