HomeMy WebLinkAbout17404 ORD - 12/22/1982AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT AGREEMENT WITH VALERO HYDROCARBONS COMPANY, AUTHORIZED BY ORDINANCE NO. 16351 PASSED ON JULY 1, 1981, SO AS TO ADD TO INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT 20-A, A 23.30 ACRE TRACT OF LAND AND A 26.37 ACRE TRACT OF LAND ALL AS SET FORTH IN THE AMENDMENT TO THE INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT AGREEMENT, A SUBSTANTIAL COPY OF WHICH IS ATTACHED HERETO AS EXHIBIT 1; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That the Industrial District Agreement with Valero Hydrocarbons Company, authorized by Ordinance No. 16351 passed on July 1, 1981, be amended so as to add to Industrial District 20-A, a 23.30 acre tract of land and a 26.37 acre tract of land all as set forth in the amendment to the Industrial District Agreement, a substantial copy of which is attached hereto as Exhibit 1. SECTION 2. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council members, copy attached, to find and declare an emergency due to the immediate need for efficient and effective administration of City affairs by amending the aforementioned industrial district agreement, such finding of an emergency is made and declared requiring suspension of the Charter rule as to consideration and voting upon ordinances or resolutions at three regular meetings so that this ordinance is passed and shall take effect upon first reading as an emergency measure this the 447day of December, 1982. BRUCE AYCOCK, CITY ATTORNEY YOR TH TY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS SEP 28 1984 MICROFILMED 174n4 AMENDMENT TO INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT AGREEMENT THE STATE OF TEXAS § COUNTY OF NUECES § This amendment to the Industrial District Agreement is entered into by and between the City of Corpus Christi, Texas, a municipal corporation of Nueces County, Texas, and Valero Hydrocarbons Company, a Delaware corporation, (Landowner) and Valero Hydrocarbons Company, a Delaware corporation, (Improvements Owner) hereinafter collectively called "COMPANY". The City of Corpus Christi and Company agree that the attached revision to Exhibit "A" consisting of a description of an approximately 23.30 acre tract and an approximately 26.37 acre tract acquired by Company after January 1, 1981, shall be included within and subject to the Company's industrial district agreement (Corpus Christi Industrial District No. 20-A authorized by Ordinance No. 16351). Company warrants to the City that the use of the subject tract relates directly to the primary use of the parent tract described under the original Industrial District Agreement.
