HomeMy WebLinkAbout17514 ORD - 03/09/1983AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $5,561.09 OUT OF THE NO. 102 GENERAL FUND TO PAY ADDITIONAL COSTS OF SELLING $10,525,000 GENERAL IMPROVEMENT BONDS; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That there is hereby appropriated $5,561.09 out of the No. 102 General Fund unappropriated fund balance to pay additional costs of selling $10,525,000 General Improvement Bonds. SECTION 2. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council members, copy attached, to find and declare an emergency due to the immediate need for efficient and effective administration of City affairs by appropriating the aforementioned funds for costs of selling $10,525,000 General Improvement Bonds, such finding of an emergency is made and declared requiring suspension of the Charter rule as to consideration and voting upon ordinances or resolutions at three regular meetings so that this ordinance is passed and shall take effect upon first reading as an emergency measure this the ATTEST: day of March, 1983.
