WADE ET AL, BY CHANGING THE ZONING MAP IN REFERENCE TO 'TRACTS 1 AND 2, BEING ,PORTIONS OF LOT 1, WOMACK FARM LOTS, FROM "T-1" MOBILE HOME SUBDIVISION, TRAVEL TRAILER PARK, OR MOBILE HOME SUBDIVISION, TO "B-4" GENERAL BUSINESS DISTRICT; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has forwarded to the'City Council its reports and recommendations concerning the application of Faires P. Wade, et al for amendment to the zoning map of the City of Corpus Christi; WHEREAS, public hearing was held at which hearing all persons wishing to appear and be heard were heard, to consider the same before the City Council of the City of Corpus Christi, in accordance with proper notice to the public, said public hearing having been held on Wednesday, March 16, . 1983, at Regular Council meeting of the City Council in the Council Chamber at City Hall in the City of Corpus Christi; and WHEREAS, by motion duly made, seconded and carried, it was decided by the City Council that to approve the hereinafter set forth amendment -would best serve public health, necessity and convenience and the general welfare of the City of Corpus Christi and its citizens: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: . SECTION 1. That the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Corpus Christi, Texas, is amended by making the change hereinafter set out. • SECTION 2. That the zoning on the hereinafter described tracts of land described as a portions of Lot 1, Womack Farm Lots, situated in the City of Corpus Christi, Nueces County, Texas, be changed from "T-1" Mobile Home Park, Travel Trailer Park, or Mobile Home Subdivision to "B-4" General Business District on Tracts 1 and 2: Tract 1 BEGINNING, for reference, at 5/8" iron rod, the common southeasterly corner of Lot 1, Womack Farm Lots (Volume A, Page 50, Nueces County Map Records) and the northeasterly corner of Tract 7, Wm. J. Robertson Farm Tracts (Volume 3, Page 40, Nueces County Map Records); THENCE, N 44° 46' W, 31.21' to a point in the West Right -of -Way line of County Road No. 37; and then S 29° 15' W, 792.95' to a point in the North Right -of -Way line of Saratoga Boulevard; 19533 1.753? MICROFILMED SEP 2 81984 THENCE, along and with said North Right -of -Way line, N 87° 45' 20" W, 213.25' and then N 61° 18' W, 602.27' to the BEGINNING POINT and Southeast corner of this 2.33 acre tract; THENCE, N 61° 18' W, 391.2' to point for Southwest corner and N 28° 39' 52" E 203.73' to point for Northwest Corner; THENCE, S 61° 20' 08" E, 195.3', N 45° 13' 10" E, 144.5' and then S 48° 41' 09" E, 158.7; to point Northeast corner; THENCE, S 28° 42' W, 307.8' to the BEGINNING POINT, containing 2.3 acres of land, more or less. Tract 2 BEGINNING, for reference, at 5/8" iron rod, the common southeasterly corner of Lot 1, Womack Farm Lots (Volume A, Page 50, Nueces County Map Records) and the Northeasterly corner of Tract 7, Wm. J. Robertson Farm Tracts (Volume 3, Page 40, Nueces County Map Records). THENCE, N 44° 46' W, 31.21; to a point in the West Right -of -Way line of County Road No. 37; and the S 29° 15' W, 792.95' to a point in the North Right -of -Way line of Saratoga Boulevard; THENCE, along and with said North Right -of -Way Line, N 87° 45' 20" W, 213.25' and N 61° 18'W, 993.47; then leaving said North Right -of -Way Line N 28° 39' 52" E, 203.73; and N 44° 49' 21" W, 928.83' to the BEGINNING POINT and Southeast corner of this 0.79 acre tract; THENCE, N 44° 49' 21" W, 284.0' to point Tract Corner; THENCE, N 45° 19' 51" E Tract Corner; THENCE, S 66° 15' 06" E Tract Corner; THENCE, S 23° 00" W containing 0.79 acres of , 91.22; to point 228.35' to point for Southwest for Northwest for Northeast , 188.6' to BEGINNING POINT, land, more or less. SECTION 3. That the official zoning map of the City of Corpus Christi, Texas, be and the same is hereby, amended as herein ordained. SECTION 4. That the Zoning Ordinance and Map of the City of Corpus Christi, Texas, approved on the 27th day of August, 1973, as amended from time to time, except as herein changed, shall remain in full force and effect. SECTION 5. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed. SECTION 6. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council members, copy attached, to find and declare an emergency due to the need for efficient administration of City affairsbygranting the aforesaid zoning change, such finding of an emergency is made and declared requiring suspension of the Charter rule as to consideration and voting upon ordinances or resolutions at three regular meetings so that this ordinance is passed and shall take effect upon first reading as an emergency measure this the 1Co day of m(1.W_ 1 \ , 1915.
