APPROPRIATING $56,600 TO PAY THE ESTIMATED COSTS OF
SELLING $11,045,000 OF BONDS ON MAY 18, 1983; AND
DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That there is hereby appropriated $56,600 out of the
No. 102 General Fund, unappropriated fund balance, to pay the estimated costs
of selling $11,045,000 of bonds on May 18, 1983, including bond attorney and
financial advisory services, printing of bonds, and official statements, bond
rating services fees and related expenses with reimbursement to be made to
the 102 General Fund out of the proceeds of the sale.
SECTION 2. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council
members, copy attached, to find and declare an emergency due to the need for
efficient and effective administration of City affairs by appropriating the
abovementioned funds so that expenses incurred with selling of bonds may be
paid, such finding of an emergency is made and declared requiring suspension
of the Charter rule as to consideration and voting upon ordinances or
resolutions at three regular meetings so that this ordinance is passed and
shall take effect upon first reading as an emergency measure this the 13th
day of April, 1983.

or at the present meeting of the City Council.
