AMENDING SECTION 55-5 (C-3), CORPUS CHRISTI CODE, BY
REVISING TRANSIT SYSTEM RATES SCHEDULE FOR INTRASTATE
CHARTER SERVICE; AND PROVIDING FOR PUBLICATION.
WHEREAS, there is need for additional revenue to pay for the cost
of repairs to improve vehicle reliability and passenger amenities, and
whereas, the City of Corpus Christi is desirous of amending its rate schedule
for intrastate charter service to be comparable to other charter operators
serving our area.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That Section 55-5 (C-3), Corpus Christi Code, setting
forth the rate schedule for intrastate charter service for equipment with and
without restroom be amended by revising such rates as shown on the attached
schedule dated June 1, 1983.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall become effective June 1, 1983.
SECTION 3. Publication shall be made one time in the official
publication of the City of Corpus Christi, by publishing the captions of this
ordinance, stating in substance the purpose of the ordinance.
