AUTHORIZING AMENDMENTS TO THE CAR RENTAL SERVICE CENTER
LEASES AT CORPUS CHRISTI INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That there is hereby authorized amendments to the
assignment of lease agreements made and entered into by and among Corpus
Christi Bank and Trust Company, Trustee; Coastal Bend Rent-A-Car, Inc.,
National Car Rental, Inc., Pagan Lewis Motors, Inc., and the City of Corpus
Christi for a commercial building site for use as an automotive service
facility at Corpus Christi International Airport, which amendments include
change of expiration date, change of rental rates, and change of address for
the City, all as more fully set forth in the amendments, copies of which are
attached hereto and made a part hereof, marked Exhibits "A", "B", and C.

SECOND AMENDMENT OF ASSIGNMENT OF LEASE

KNOW ALL BY THESE PRESENTS:
COUNTY OF NUECES §
This Second Amendment of Assignment of Lease Agreement, made and
entered into by and among First City Bank of Corpus Christi, Trustee,
formerly Corpus Christi Bank & Trust Company, Trustee, (hereinafter
"Assignor"), Coastal Bend Rent-A-Car, Inc., dba Avis Rent-A-Car
(hereinafter "Assignee"), and the City of Corpus Christi, Texas
(hereinafter "City");
WITNESSETH:
WHEREAS, an Assignment of Lease Agreement by and among the parties
hereto was entered into on December 8, 1970, as authorized by Ordinance
Number 9997, in order to provide for the rental of a commercial building
site for use as an automotive service facility and other related activities
at the Corpus Christi International Airport; and
WHEREAS, said Assignment of Lease Agreement was amended on June 7,
1978, as authorized by Ordinance Number 14328, and the parties hereto
desire to adapt a second amendment to said Agreement;
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the covenants and conditions
contained herein the parties hereto agree as follows:
1. That paragraph 2 of said Agreement, as amended, be amended to
change the expiration date to July 30, 1987.
2. That paragraph 3A of said Agreement, as amended, be amended to
change the rental rate as follows:
Assignee, for and during the term hereof, shall pay rent to the
City at the annual rate of TWO THOUSAND DOLLARS ($2,000.00), said
rent payable monthly in advance in equal installments of ONE
HUNDRED SIXTY-SIX AND 67/100 DOLLARS ($166.67).
3. That paragraph 19 of said Agreement, as amended, be amended to
change the notice address to the City and Assignor as follows:

4. That this Second Amendment of Assignment of Lease Agreement be
effective as of February 6, 1982, and that the terms and conditions of said
Assignment of Lease Agreement, as amended, duly executed by the parties
hereto be and remain in full force and effect.

SECOND AMENDMENT OF ASSIGNMENT OF LEASE

KNOW ALL BY THESE PRESENTS:

This Second Amendment of Assignment of Lease Agreement, made and
entered into by and among First City Bank of Corpus Christi, Trustee,
formerly Corpus Christi Bank & Trust Company, Trustee, (hereinafter
"Assignor"), National Car Rentals of Corpus Christi, Inc. (hereinafter
"Assignee"), and the City of Corpus Christi, Texas (hereinafter "City");
WITNESSETH:
WHEREAS, an Assignment of Lease Agreement by and among the parties
hereto was entered into on November 7, 1967, as authorized by Ordinance
Number 8652, in order to provide for the rental of a commercial building
site for use as an automotive service facility and other related activities
at the Corpus Christi International Airport; and
WHEREAS, said Assignment of Lease Agreement was amended on June 7,
1978, as authorized by Ordinance Number 14329, and the parties hereto
desire to adopt a second amendment to said Agreement;
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the covenants and conditions
contained herein the parties hereto agree as follows:
1. That paragraph 2 of said Agreement, as amended, be amended to
change the expiration date to July 30, 1987.
2. That paragraph 3A of said Agreement, as amended, be amended to
change the rental rate as follows:
Assignee, for and during the term hereof, shall pay rent to the
City at the annual rate of TWO THOUSAND DOLLARS ($2,000.00), said
rent payable monthly in advance in equal installments of ONE
HUNDRED SIXTY-SIX AND 67/100 DOLLARS ($166.67).
3. That paragraph 19 of said Agreement, as amended, be amended to
change the notice address to the City and Assignor as follows:

This Amendment of Assignment of Lease Agreement, made and entered into
by and among First City Bank of Corpus Christi, Trustee, formerly Corpus
Christi Bank & Trust Company, Trustee, (hereinafter "Assignor"), Pagan
Lewis Motors, Inc., dba Budget Rent-A-Car (hereinafter "Assignee"), and the
City of Corpus Christi, Texas (hereinafter "City");
WITNESSETH:
WHEREAS, an Assignment of Lease Agreement by and among the parties
hereto was entered into on June 27, 1977, as authorized by Ordinance Number
13607, in order to provide for the rental of a commercial building site for
use as an automotive service facility and other related activities at the
Corpus Christi International Airport; and
WHEREAS, the parties hereto desire to adopt an amendment to said
Agreement;
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the covenants and conditions
contained herein the parties hereto agree as follows:
1. That paragraph 2 of said Agreement be amended to change the
expiration date to July 30, 1987.
2. That paragraph 3a of said Agreement be amended to change the
rental rate as follows:
Assignee, for and during the term hereof, shall pay rent to the
City at the annual rate of ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS ($1,000.00), said
rent payable monthly in advance in equal installments of EIGHTY-
THREE AND 33/100 DOLLARS ($83.33).
3. That this Amendment of Assignment of Lease Agreement be effective
as of February 6, 1982, and that the terms and conditions of said
Assignment of Lease Agreement duly executed by the parties hereto be and
remain in full force and effect.
