HomeMy WebLinkAbout17731 ORD - 07/27/1983sr' AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $3,066.25 FOR TESTING SERVICES PROVIDED BY ERES, INC., AND DYNATEST COUNSULTING, INC. ON RUNWAY 13-31; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That there is hereby appropriated $3,066.25 out of the No. 245 Airport Bond Fund for testing services provided by ERES, Inc. and Dynatest Consulting, Inc. on Runway 13-31 applicable to project No. 245-77-12, Design of Runway & Taxiway Improvements (13-31). SECTION 2. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council members, copy attached, to find and declare an emergency due to the immediate need for efficient and effective administration of City affairs by appropriating the abovementioned funds at the earliest possible date, such finding of an emergency is made and declared requiring suspension of the Charter rule as to consideration and voting upon ordinances or resolutions at three regular meetings so that this ordinance is passed and�shall take effect upon first reading as an emergency measure this the .: %'" /may of July, 1983.
