HomeMy WebLinkAbout17735 ORD - 07/27/1983TEXAS: AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF $56,964.42 OUT OF VARIOUS BOND FUNDS FOR EXPENSES IN CONNECTION WITH THE SALE OF $11,045,000 GENERAL IMPROVEMENT BONDS, SERIES 1983, ON MAY 18, 1983; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, SECTION 1. That there is hereby appropriated out of various bond funds as hereinafter set forth for expenses in connection $11,045,000 General Improvement Bonds, Series 1983, said conducted on May 18, 1983, said expenses being as follows: with the sale of sale having been Bond Attorney, Hobby H. McCall $ 13,856.25 Financial Advisory, M. E. Allison & Co., Inc. 27,617.52 Printing Official Statement 9,618.15 Printing Bonds 2,372.50 Bond Rating Services - Moody's 3,500.00 $ 56,964.42 Bond Fund Appropriation 250 Sanitary Sewers 220 Street 251 Sanitary Land Fill 291 Parks and Recreation 247 Airport Land and Hazard Elimination 245 Airport Improvements 295 Storm Sewers 270 Public Safety 269 Library SECTION 2. That upon written $ 518.38 15,625.34 1,805.77 1,549.43 7,735.77 410.14 2,865.31 2,?15.92 24,238.36 $ 56,964.42 request of the Mayor or five Council members, copy attached, to find and declare an emergency in order to appropriate the funds as aforesaid due to the need for efficient administration of City affairs, such finding of an emergency is made and declared requiring suspension of the Charter rule as to consideration and voting upon ordinances or resolutions at three regular meetings so that this ordinance is passed and shall take effect upon first reading as an emergency measure this 47f/ day of July, 1983.
