APPROPRIATING $5,234.34 OUT OF MULTICULTURAL FUND NO. 265
AND $7,073.90 OUT OF PARK TRUST FUND NO. 111, AND
$7,629.36 OUT OF SIXTH YEAR COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK
GRANT FUNDS FOR REIMBURSEMENT AT VARIOUS PARKS TO THE
GENERAL FUND NO. 102-266-518.43-603; AND DECLARING AN
EMERGENCY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That there is hereby appropriated the sum of $5,234.34
out of Multicultural Bond Fund 265, $7,073.90 out of Park Trust Fund No. 111,
and $7,629.36 out of Sixth Year Community Development Block Grant funds for a
total of $93,527.08 for reimbursement at various parks to the General Fund
No. 102-266-518.43-603, for work accomplished as follows:

SECTION 2. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council
members, copy attached, to find and declare an emergency due to the necessity
to appropriate the sums hereinabove described in order to make reimbursement
to the General Fund at the earliest practicable date, such finding of an
emergency is made and declared requiring suspension of the Charter rule as to
consideration and voting upon ordinances or resolutions at three regular
meetings so that this ordinance is passed and shall take effect upon first
reading as an emergency measure thi s7 day of July, 1983.
