AMENDING THE MASTER SANITARY SEWER PLAN TO DELETE THE
STAGE CONSTRUCTION CONCEPT PRESENTLY INCLUDED AND TO
REALIGN SERVICE AREA BOUNDARIES, LIFT STATION AND TRUNK
MAIN LOCATIONS; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That the Master Sanitary Sewer Plan for the southern
area of the City bounded by Oso Creek, Holly Road, and east of the Cabaniss
Field/Saratoga Boulevard area to delete the stage construction concept
presently included in the Master Plan as prepared by McCaughan & Etheridge in
1974, and realign service area boundaries, lift station and trunk main
locations, all in accordance with drawings which are attached hereto as
Exhibit "A" and incorporated herein by reference and filed in the office of
the City Engineer.
SECTION 2. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council
members, copy attached to find and declare an emergency due to the need for
efficient and effective administration of City affairs by amending the Master
Sanitary Sewer Plan as aforementioned at the earliest practicable date, such
finding of an emergency is made and declared requiring suspension of the
Charter rule as to consideration and voting upon ordinances or resolutions at
three regular meetings so that this ordinance is passed a d shall take effect
upon first reading as an emergency measure this the day of July, 1983.

as to consideration and voting upon ordinances or resolutions at three

and pass this ordinance or resolution finally on the date it is introduced,
or at the present meeting of the City Council.
