Home My WebLink About17744 ORD - 07/27/1983AN ORDINANCE AMENDING COMPENSATION ORDINANCE 3658 OF THE COMPENSATION/CLASSIFICATION PLAN SECTION 250, BY SUBSTITUTING NEW SUBSECTIONS 251, 252, 253, 254, 255, 256, AND 257; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That the Compensation Ordinance 3658 of the `Compensation/Classification Plan Section 250 is hereby amended by substituting new Subsections 251, 252, 253, 254, 255, 256, and 257, attached hereto as Exhibit "I". SECTION 2. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council members, copy attached, to find and declare an emergency due to the immediate need for efficient and effective administration of City affairs by amending the Compensation/Classification Plan as aforementioned, such finding of an emergency is made and declared requiring suspension of the Charter rule as to consideration and voting upon ordinances or resolutions at three regular meetings so that this ordinance is passed and shall take effect upon first reading as an emergency measure this the day of July, 1983.
