HomeMy WebLinkAbout17807 ORD - 08/24/1983TEXAS: AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI BY AMENDING ARTICLE 22, PARKING REGULATIONS, SECTION 22-1, BY ADDING TWO USES; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, SECTION 1. That the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Corpus Christi is hereby amended by amending Article 22, Parking Regulations, by adding two uses to read Section 22-1 Column 1 Use or Use Category Office or Office Building (Medical) Clinic Office or Office Building(Non- Medical) as follows:: Column 2 Location all districts all districts Column 3 Spaces Required Per Basic Measuring. Unit 1 per 200 s.f. of floor area 1 per 250 s.f. of floor area Section 22-1, Column 4 Additional Requirements 5 spaces minimum 5 spaces mini- mum; square footage in excess of 20,000 ft. of floor area at 1 space per 400 s.f. of floor area SECTION 3. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council members, copy attached, to find and declare an emergency due to the need for the immediate amendment to the Zoning Ordinance to promote the health, safety, and economic development of the City, such finding of an emergency is made and declared requiring suspension of the Charter rule as to consideration and voting upon ordinances or resolutions at three regular meetings so that this ordinance is passed and shall take effect upon first reading as an emergency measure this the 24th day of August, 1983.
