HomeMy WebLinkAbout17857 ORD - 09/28/1983 (2)AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CITY CODE, SECTION 29-18, TO INCREASE THE FEE CHARGED BY MUNICIPAL COURT FOR THE ISSUANCE AND SERVICE OF A WARRANT OF ARREST FROM $5 TO $25 EFFECTIVE OCTOBER 1, 1983. WHEREAS, Senate Bill 1034 passed by the Sixty -Eighth Legislature states that the fee charged for the issuance and service of a warrant of arrest for an offense under Section 38.11, Penal Code, or under Section 149, Uniform Act Regulating Traffic on Highways (Article 6701d, Vernon's Texas Civil Statutes) not exceed $25; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: ' SECTION 1.
