RECOGNIZING THE APPOINTMENT OF SGT. RUBEN B. CISNEROS TO THE
TEXAS COMMISSION ON LAW ENFORCEMENT STANDARDS AND EDUCATION.
WHEREAS, Sgt. Ruben B. Cisneros, an employee
of the City of Corpus Christi has been appointed
Commission on Law Enforcement Standards and Education:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS:
of the Police Department
to serve on the Texas
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
That Sgt. Cisneros be recognized for his appointment and be encouraged
to perform his duties during the term of his appointment with the Commission in
a conscientious and responsible manner, as a representative of the City of
Corpus Christi.

For the reasons set forth in the emergency clause of the foregoing ordinance
or resolution, an emergency exists requiring suspension of the Charter rule
as to consideration and voting upon ordinances or resolutions at three
regular meetings; I/we, therefore, request that you suspend said Charter rule
and pass this ordinance or resolution finally on the date it is introduced,
or at the present meeting of the City Council.
