BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, SECTION 1. That there is hereby appropriated the sum of $73,348.95 out of Park Bond Fund No. 291, $3,268.52 out of Park Trust Fund No. 111, and $9,358.87 out of Ninth Year Community Development Block Grant funds for a total of $85,976.34 for reimbursement at various parks to the General Fund No. 102-266-518.43-603, for work accomplished as follows: Park Lions Park Ridgewood Bill Witt Swantner Meadowpark 162-152-807.07 $ 1,064.70 502 -9th Yr.CDBG Westhaven 162-152-807.07 $ 8,294.17 502 -9th Yr.CDBG Project No. Cost 111-241.22 $ 3,268.52 291-77-4.7 $ 1,926.71 291-77-9 $61,849.97 291-77-3.1 $ 9,572.27 Improvements Play equipment installation, fill around shelter, table installations Site preparation, fence construction Soccer field construction - surveying, grading, seeding, irrigation system installation Sidewalk construction and landscaping Ditching for electrical wire installation Construction of concrete picnic tables, shelter and lighting renovation. SECTION 2. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council members, copy attached, to find and declare an emergency due to the necessity to appropriate the sums hereinabove described in order to make reimbursement to the General Fund at the earliest practicable date, such finding of an emergency is made and declared requiring suspension of the Charter rule as to consideration and voting upon ordinances or resolutions at three regular meetings so that this SEP 2 81984 18010 MICRUILMED ordinance is passed and shall take effect upon first reading as an emergency measure this 4th day of January, 1984.
