AMENDING THE CORPUS CHRISTI CITY CODE BY AMENDING CHAPTER
6, ANIMAL CONTROL, BY ADDING SECTION 6-25, LOAN OF SMALL
ANIMAL TRAPS; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE; PROVIDING FOR
SEVERANCE; AND PROVIDING FOR PUBLICATION.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That the Corpus Christi City Code, as amended, be amended
by amending Chapter 6, Animal Control, by adding Section 6-25, Loan of Small
Animal Traps, to read as follows:
Sec. 6-25. Loan of Small Animal Traps.
Small animal traps will be loaned by the Animal Control
Division for a charge of $1.00 per day. There will be a
required deposit of $10.00 prior to the loan of these traps.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect from and after its
publication one time in the official publication of the City of Corpus Christi,
which publication shall contain the caption stating in summary the purpose of
the ordinance.
SECTION 3. If for any reason any section, paragraph, subdivision,
clause, phrase, word or provision of this ordinance shall be held invalid or
unconstitutional by final judgment of a court of competent jurisdiction, it shall
not affect any other section, paragraph, subdivision, clause, phrase, word or
provision of this ordinance for it is the definite intent of this City Council
that every section, paragraph, subdivision, clause, phrase, word or provision
hereof be given full force and effect for its purpose.
