AMENDING THE CORPUS CHRISTI CITY CODE BY AMENDING CHAPTER
57, VEHICLES FOR HIRE, BY AMENDING SECTION 57-193, EMERGENCY
RUN REPORTS; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE; PROVIDING FOR
SEVERANCE; AND PROVIDING FOR PUBLICATION.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That the Corpus Christi City Code, as amended, be amended
by amending Chapter 57, Vehicles for Hire, by amending Section 57-193, Emergency
Run Reports, to read as follows:
Sec. 57-193. Emergency Run Reports.
The holder of the ambulance operator permit shall
preserve the firm's ambulance patient record form for a
period of two years. These forms shall be available upon
request by the Permit Officer. The APR form used by the
private firm shall contain, as a minimum, the following
essential items:
1. Patient's name
2. Patient's address
3. Date call was made
4. Time call was made
5. Sex of patient
6. Age of patient
7. Location of emergency
8. Type of emergency
9. Name of driver
10. Name of attendant
11. Location to which patient was delivered
12. Type of care and treatment administered
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect from and after its
publication one time in the official publication of the City of Corpus Christi,
which publication shall contain the caption stating in summary the purpose of
the ordinance.
SECTION 3. If for any reason any section, paragraph, subdivision,
clause, phrase, word or provision of this ordinance shall be held invalid or
unconstitutional by final judgment of a court of competent jurisdiction, it shall
not affect any other section, paragraph, subdivision, clause, phrase, word or
provision of this ordinance for it is the definite intent of this City Council
that every section, paragraph, subdivision, clause, phrase, word or provision
hereof be given full force and effe t, o its purpose.
