AUTHORIZING THE REIMBURSEMENT OF $9,277.73 TO BRYAN
TUCKER, FOR THE INSTALLATION OF A WATER GRID MAIN IN
CRESTMONT UNIT VII SUBDIVISION; AND DECLARING AN
EMERGENCY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That the City Manager be authorized to reimburse Bryan
Tucker, owner and developer of Crestmont Unit VII Subdivision, the amount of
$9,277.73 for the installation of a water grid main as shown on the map attached
hereto and made a part hereof, marked Exhibit "A".
SECTION 2. That there is hereby appropriated $9,277.73 from the
No. 143-246.95 Water Grid and Arterial Transmission Main Trust Fund.
SECTION 3. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council
members, copy attached, to find and declare an emergency due to the immediate
need for efficient and effective administration of City affairs by reimbursing
the developer for the abovementioned water grid main, such finding of an
emergency is made and declared requiring suspension of the Charter rule as to
consideration and voting upon ordinances or resolutions at three regular
meetings so that this ordinance is passed and shall take effect upon first
reading as an emergency measure this the 25th day of January, 1984.
