HomeMy WebLinkAbout18150 ORD - 03/28/1984TEXAS: AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $478,250 FOR INSTRUMENTATION AND TELEMETERING EQUIPMENT AND INSTALLATION APPLICABLE TO CENTRALIZED MONITORING AND CONTROL SYSTEM FOR WATER TREATMENT PLANTS AND PUMPING STATIONS; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, SECTION 1. That there is hereby appropriated the sum of $478,250 from the No. 205 Water System Bond Construction Fund for instrumentation and telemetering equipment and installation applicable to Centralized Monitoring and Control System Project No. 205-81-7 for Water Treatment Plants and Pumping Stations. SECTION 2. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council members, copy attached, to find and declare an emergency due to the necessity of appropriating the sums hereinabove described at the earliest practicable date, such finding of an emergency is made and declared requiring suspension of the Charter rule as to consideration and voting upon ordinances or resolutions at three regular meetings so that this ordinance is passed and shall take effect upon first reading as an emergency measure this 28th day of March, 1984.
