AN ORDINANCE
APPROVING CHANGE ORDER NO. 1 TO THE CONTRACT WITH IBANEZ
CONSTRUCTION COMPANY FOR THE COLE STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
WHICH PROVIDES FOR THE ADDITION OF 470 LINEAR FEET OF 8"
DIAMETER APPROPRIATING ITARY SEWER $6,752; AND DECLARINGEANSRELATED WORK;
EMERGENCY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
SECTION 1. That there is hereby approved Change Order No. 1 to the
contract with Ibanez Construction Company for the Cole Street Improvement
project which provides for the addition of 470 linear feet of 8" diameter
sanitary sewer improvements and related hiork, all as attached more

change order, a substantial copy of
hereof, marked Exhibit "A".
SECTION 2. That there is hereby appropriated $6,752 from the No. 250
Sanitary Sewer Bond Fund.
Section 3. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council
members, copy attached, to find and declare an emergency due to the need to take
immediate action to preserve and protect public property by expediting the
construction of public improvements, such finding of an emergency is made and
declared requiring suspension of the Charter rule as to consideration and voting
upon ordinances or resolutions at three regular meetings so that this ordinance
is passed and shall take effect upon first reading as an emergency measure this
the 4th day of April, 1984.

Our prices for the additions are as follows:
470 LF 8" VCP @$10.00 per LF........ $ 4,700.00
The Manholes are the same unit price cost
8500 LF 5" Tied Sidewalk @$2.20 per Sq. Ft $18,700.00
4 LF 15" RCP @$18.00 per LF $72.00.
The unit price cost increased on the 8" VCP because we have approximately
2 1/2 feet more depth.
