AN ORDINANCE
AUTHORIZING THE REIMBURSEMENT OF $18,837.75 TO THE LAKES
ASSOCIATES FOR THE INSTALLATION OF A WATER GRID MAIN IN
THE LAKES UNIT 1 SUBDIVISION AND $9,429.40 FOR
INSTALLATION OF AN OFFSITE 18" SANITARY SEWER TRUNK LINE;
AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
SECTION 1. That the City Manager is hereby authorized to reimburse
The Lakes Associates, owner and developer of The Lakes Unit 1 Subdivision, the
amountii of $18,offwhi the siattachedion of a heret and water made arid partmain
hereof,shown
and the
Exhibit f a copy
amount of $9,429.40 for the installation of an offsite 18" sanitary sewer trunk
line as shown on Exhibit "B", a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part
hereof.
SECTION 2. That there is hereby appropriated $18,837.75 from the

Trunk Line T ust Fund. and
SECTION 3. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council
members, copy attached, to find and declare an emergency due to the immediate
need for efficient and effective administration of City affairs by reimbursing
the developer for the abovementioned water grid main and sanitary sewer trunk
line, such finding of an emergency is made and declared requiring suspension of
