WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has forwarded to the City Council its

found the proposed change in zoning is in the public interest and within the
purpose of the zoning ordinance; and, that permanent zoning of "R -1B"" on Tracts

Encinal Farm and Garden Tracts, Nueces County, Texas, more fully described

(2) That the agreement for the contractual annexation of the land

SECTION 1. That the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Corpus Christi,
Texas, is amended by making the change hereinafter set out.
SECTION 2. That there is hereby amended Article 31 of the Zoning
Ordinance, Section 31-5, by adding a new subsection, 31-5.67 to hereafter read
as follows, such zoning classification of the hereinafter described properties

For the reasons set forth in the emergency clause of the foregoing ordinance
or resolution, an emergency exists requiring suspension of the Charter rule
as to consideration and voting upon ordinances or resolutions at three
regular meetings; I/we, therefore, request that you suspend said Charter rule
and pass this ordinance or resolution finally on the date it is introduced,
or at the present meeting of the City Council.
