31-5.68, SETTING FORTH ZONING CLASSIFICATION OF SAID AREA OF
LAND -RSCRIBED AS A PORTION OUT OF LOT 8, ECTION 14,
BOHEMIAN COLONY LANDS; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has forwardedication toothe

for amendment to the zoning map of the City of Corpus Christi;
WHEREAS, public hearing was held at which hearing all persons wishing
to appear and be heard were heard, to consider the same before the City Council
of the City of Corpus Christi, in accordance with proper notice to the public,
said public hearing having been held on Wednesday, April 11, 1984, at Regular
Citycof CorpusgChof the ri Christi; and the City Council Council in the Council furtherCfidsrat as follows all in the
(1) That the Planning Commission of the City of Corpus Christi has
found the proposed change in zoning is in the public interest and within the
purpose of the zoning ordinance; and, that permanent zoning of "I-2" on a
portion out of Lot 8, Section 14, Bohemian Colony Lands, Nueces County, Texas,
more fully described hereinafter, be granted;
(2) That the agreement for the contractual annexation of the land

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Corpus Christi,
Texas, is amended by making the change hereinafter set out.
SECTION 2. That there is hereby amended Article
5 68 to1ofreae Zoning
Ordinance, Section 31-5, by adding a new subsection,
as follows, such zoning classification of the,h�e�rrtnafter described properties

For the reasons set forth in the emergency clause of the foregoing ordinance
or resolution, an emergency exists requiring suspension of the Charter rule
as to consideration and voting upon ordinances or resolutions at three

and pass this ordinance or resolution finally on the date it is introduced,
or at the present meeting of the City Council.
