HomeMy WebLinkAbout18240 ORD - 05/23/1984TEXAS: AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF $66,955.80 OUT OF VARIOUS BOND FUNDS FOR EXPENSES IN CONNECTION WITH THE SALE OF $12,500,000 GENERAL IMPROVEMENT BONDS, SERIES 1984, ON MARCH 28, 1984; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, SECTION 1. That there is hereby appropriated out of various bond funds as hereinafter set forth for expenses in connection with the sale of $12,500,000 General Improvement Bonds, Series 1984, said sale having been conducted on March 28, 1984, said expenses being as follows: Bond Attorney, Hobby H. McCall $14,327.46 Financial Advisor, M.E. Allison & Co., Inc. 27,066:00 Printing Official Statement 15,922.34 Printing Bonds 1,640.00 Bond Rating Services - Moody's 3,500.00 Standard & Poor's 4,500.00 $66,955.80 Bond Fund Appropriation 250 Sanitary Sewer $ 535.65 220 Streets 20,702.73 291 Park and Recreation 1,888.16 247 Airport Land and Hazard Elimination 6,695.58 245 Airport Improvements 5,476.98 270 Public Safety 2,196.15 210 City Hall 29,460.55 $66,955.80 SECTION 2. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council members, copy attached, to find and decare an emergency in order to appropriate the funds as aforesaid due to the need for efficient administration of City affairs, such finding of an emergency is made and declared requiring suspension of the Charter rule as to consideration and voting upon ordinances or resolutions at three regular meetings so that this ordinance is passed and shall take effect upon first reading as an emergency measure this 23rd day of May, 1984.
