HomeMy WebLinkAbout18292 ORD - 06/19/1984AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $6,500 FROM THE NO. 220 STREET BOND FUND FOR ADDITIONAL COSTS INCURRED DURING CONSTRUCTION OF SPOHN HOSPITAL AREA STREET IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That there is hereby appropriated $6,500 out of the No. 220 Street Bond Fund for additional costs incurred during construction of the Spohn Hospital Area Street Improvements Project. SECTION 2. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council members, copy attached, to find and declare an emergency due to the necessity of appropriating the sum hereinabove described at the earliest practicable date, such finding of an emergency is made and declared requiring suspension of the Charter rule as to consideration and voting upon ordinances or resolutions at three regular meetings so that this ordinance is passed and shall take effect upon first reading as an emergency measure this 19th day of June, 1984.
