AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN AMENDMENT TO THE LEASE
AGREEMENT WITH HASSLOCHER ENTERPRISES, INC., TO EXTEND THE
OPENING DATE OF THE BARGE RESTAURANT TO JULY 15, 1984, AND
APPROVING MOORING AND ENTRYWAY PLANS FOR SAID BARGE
RESTAURANT.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an
amendment to the lease agreement with Hasslocher Enterprises, Inc., to extend
the opening date of the barge restaurant to July 15, 1984, and approving mooring
and entryway plans for said barge restaurant, all as more fully set forth in the
amendment, a substantial copy of which is attached hereto and made a part
hereof, marked Exhibit A.

AGREEMENT AMENDMENT
The undersigned parties hereby agree to the following
amendment to the agreement authorized by the City Council on
November 9, 1981, between the City of Corpus Christi and Nueces
Landing Company, as follows:
"XIV Liquidated Damages.
In the event that Second Party fails to execute
the lease attached as Exhibit A and said floating
restaurant is not ready to open for business and
be fully capable of operation by July 15, 1984,
then the Second Party's bid security of $1,000
shall be forfeited to the City as liguidated
damages."
