HomeMy WebLinkAbout18311 ORD - 07/03/1984AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $4,691.98 FOR LEGAL FEES AND SERVICES IN CONNECTION WITH CORPUS CHRISTI BEACH PROJECT; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That there is hereby appropriated the sum of $4,691.98 from the No. 291 Park Bond Fund for legal fees and services in connection with the Corpus Christi Beach Project, Jack Davis v. City of Corpus Christi. SECTION 2. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council members, copy attached, to find and declare an emergency due to the necessity of appropriating the sums hereinabove described at the earliest practicable date, such finding of an emergency is made and declared requiring suspension of the Charter rule as to consideration and voting upon ordinances or resolutions at three regular meetings so that this ordinance is passed and shall take effect upon first reading as an emergency measure this 3rd day of July, 1984.
