HomeMy WebLinkAbout18314 ORD - 07/03/1984AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH WILLIAMS-STACKHOUSE, INC. BY ACCEPTING THE PROPOSAL DATED APRIL 12, 1984, WHICH PROVIDES FOR AERIAL PHOTOGRAPHY AND PLANIMETRIC MAPS FOR USE IN PLAN PREPARATION FOR SANITARY SEWER EXTENSIONS; APPROPRIATING $8,900; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That the City Manager is hereby authorized to enter into an agreement with Williams -Stackhouse, Inc. of San Antonio by accepting the proposal dated April 12, 1984, which provides for aerial photography and planimetric maps of four areas of the city for use in plan preparation for sanitary sewer extensions. SECTION 2. That there is hereby appropriated $8,900 out of the No. 250 Sanitary Sewer Bond Fund. SECTION 3. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council members, copy attached, to find and declare an emergency due to the need for the efficient and effective administration of City affairs by authorizing the abovementioned aerial photographs at the earliest practicable date, such finding of an emergency is made and declared requiring suspension of the Charter rule as to consideration and voting upon ordinances or resolutions at three regular meetings so that this ordinance is passed and shall take effect upon first reading as an emergency measure this the 3rd day of July, 1984.
