HomeMy WebLinkAbout18346 ORD - 07/24/1984AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $12,000 FROM THE NO. 121 TAX REINVESTMENT ZONE FUND TO REIMBURSE THE NO. 102 GENERAL FUND FOR EXPENSES INCURRED IN THE TAX OFFICE, THE LEGAL OFFICE, DATA PROCESSING, AND OTHER ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICES FOR THE MANAGEMENT AND COLLECTION OF REVENUES IN THE TAX REINVESTMENT DISTRICT; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That there is hereby appropriated $12,000 from the No. 121 Tax Reinvestment Zone Fund to reimburse the No. 102 General Fund for expenses incurred in the Tax Office, the Legal Office, Data Processing, and other administrative offices for the management and collection of revenues in the Tax Reinvestment District. SECTION 2. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council members, copy attached, to find and declare an emergency in order to appropriate the funds as aforesaid due to the need for efficient administration of City affairs, such finding of an emergency is made and declared requiring suspension of the Charter rule as to consideration and voting upon ordinances or resolutions at three regular meetings so that this ordinance is passed and shall take effect upon first reading as an emergency measure this 24th day of July, 1984.
