AMENDING SECTIONS 53-252, SCHEDULE III - PARKING PROHIBITED
AT ALL TIMES ON CERTAIN STREETS, AND 53-253, SCHEDULE
IV - STOPPING, STANDING OR PARKING DURING CERTAIN HOURS ON
CERTAIN STREETS, OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES BY DELETING AND
ADDING DIFFERENT STREET SECTIONS TO THE SCHEDULES; PROVIDING
FOR SEVERANCE; AND PROVIDING FOR PUBLICATION.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That Section 53-252, Schedule III - Parking Prohibited at
All Times on Certain Streets, of the Code of Ordinances be amended by deleting
the following:
Ayers Street, east side, between Tenth Street and South
Staples Street
and in lieu thereof adding the following street sections:
Ayers Street; both sides, between Tenth Street and Seventh
Street
Everhart Road, east side, between S.H. 358 North Frontage
Road and Janssen Street
Horne Road, north side, between Airport Road and F.M. 665
(Old Brownsville Road)
Kostoryz Road, both sides, between S.H. 358 North Frontage
Road and South Staples Street
SECTION 2. That Section 53-253, Schedule IV - Stopping, Standing or
Parking During Certain Hours on Certain Streets, of the Code of Ordinances be
amended by deleting the following:

SECTION 3. If for any reason any section, paragraph, subdivision,
clause, phrase, word, or provision of this ordinance shall be held invalid or
unconstitutional by final judgment of .a court of competent jurisdiction, it
shall not affect any other section, paragraph, subdivision, clause, phrase,
word, or provision of this ordinance, for it is the definite intent of this City
Council that every section, paragraph, subdivision, clause, phrase, word, or
provision hereof be given full force and effect for its purpose.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall take effect from and after its
publication one time in the official publication of the City of Corpus Christi,
which publication shall contain the caption stating in summary the purpose of
the ordinance.
