HomeMy WebLinkAbout18414 ORD - 08/21/1984TEXAS: AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $4,447.95 FROM THE NO. 162 FEDERAL/STATES GRANT FUND TO SUPPLEMENT PREVIOUSLY APPROPRIATED FUNDS FOR FINAL CONSTRUCTION OF THE SPOHN HOSPITAL AREA STREET IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT, PHASE II; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, SECTION 1. That there is hereby appropriated $4,447.95 from the No. 162 Federal/States Grant Fund, Activity 152-807.06, Code 502, 8th Year Community Development Block Grant to supplemental previously appropriated funds for final construction of the Spohn Hospital Area Street Improvements Project, Phase II. SECTION 2. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council members, copy attached, to find and declare an emergency due to the necessity of appropriating the sum hereinabove described at the earliest practicable date, such finding of an emergency is made and declared requiring suspension of the Charter rule as to consideration and voting upon ordinances or resolutions at three regular meetings so that this ordinance is passed and shall take effect upon first reading as an emergency measure this 21st day of August, 1984.
