HomeMy WebLinkAbout18416 ORD - 08/21/1984AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $4,500 FROM THE NO. 220 STREET BOND FUND FOR APPRAISAL SERVICES BY SIDNEY H. SMITH, III IN CONNECTION WITH THE PURDUE ROAD STREET IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT, PHASE II; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That there is hereby appropriated $4,500 from the No. 220 Street Bond Fund for appraisal services by Sidney H. Smith, III in connection with the Purdue Road Street Improvements Project, Phase II. SECTION 2. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council members, copy attached, to find and declare an emergency due to the necessity of appropriating the sum hereinabove described at the earliest practicable date, such finding of an emergency is made and declared requiring suspension of the Charter rule as to consideration and voting upon ordinances or resolutions at three regular meetings so that this ordinance is passed and shall take effect upon first reading as an emergency measure this 21st day of August, 1984.
