AMENDING THE CODE OF ORDINANCES, CHAPTER 36, PARKS,
RECREATION, CULTURAL AND LEISURE TIME ACTIVITIES,
SECTION 36-7, SWIMMING POOL RATE SCHEDULE, TO INCREASE SPLASH
PARTY FEES; PROVIDING FOR SEVERANCE; PROVIDING FOR
PUBLICATION.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That the Code of Ordinances of the City of Corpus Christi,
Texas, Chapter .36, Parks, recreation, cultural time activities, be amended by
amending Section 36-7, Swimming pool rate schedule, to readas follows:
Splash party fees (for one hour):
Greenwood Pool $25.00 plus $15 clean up fee
West Guth Pool $17.50 plus $15 clean-up fee
Parker Pool $17.50 plus $15 clean-up fee
All other pools (Collier, Oso, HEB, Meadow Park, T.C.
Ayers, Violet Road• $15 00 plus $15 clean-up fee
$7.00 per hour fee each lifeguard over two hours
SECTION 2. If for any reason any section, paragraph, subdivision,
clause, phrase, word, or provision of this ordinance shall be held invalid or
unconstitutional by final judgment of a court of competent jurisdiction, it
shall not affect any other section, paragraph, subdivision, clause, phrase,
word, or provision of this ordinance, for it is the definite intent of this City
Council that every section, paragraph, subdivision, clause, phrase, word, or
provision,hereof be given full force and effect for its purpose.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect from and after its
publication one time in the official publication of the City of Corpus Christi,
which publicatio.shall contain the caption stating in summary the purpose of
the ordinance.
